We have applied and have obtained two Research grants from FIS in the area

of clinical epidemiology and in the area of health services Research. In 2013 we
joined the Action Group on Prescription and adherence to medical plans of the
European Comission inserted in the strategy healthy ageing (further information:
http://ec.europa.eu/research/innovation-union/index_en.cfm?section=active-
healthy-ageing).
We also have integrated in the Task Force PaSQ. European Union Network for Pa-
tient Safety and Quality of Car.
In the academic field our group coordinate the Oficial PhD program on public
health, medical and chirurgical sciences. Finally, the head of the group has been
elected president of the Spanish Association of Public health and member of the
Governing Council of the World Federation of Public Health Associations.
