Highlights
During the year 2013 our group has published 23 scientific articles, 19 indexed in
ISI JCR database. Of these 12 were located in the first quartile (ISI JCR 2012), 2
in the second, 1 in the third and 4 in the fourth quartile. We have also published ó
a book.
On the other hand, 4 doctoral thesis have been defended within the group (the
directors were members of our group), all in programs with honors and three of
them at a program on international doctorate. All rated as ‘apto cum laude’.
We continue with a competitive project (AES 2011) and obtained two non-compe-
titive projects funded by the University of Girona.
We continue to belong to the group consoilidado SGR (Generalitat of Catalonia),
in addition to CIBER.
We have collaborated with other groups CIBERESP, with other foreign national
groups and international groups, pointing out above all, our collaboration with the
the CIBERESP Cases and Controls in Pandemic Influenza Working Group; mem-
bers of the Ineq-Cities project (part of CIBERESP, part international) ; MCC Spain
(CIBERESP); ICO (groups outside the CIBER); Department of Mathematics, Uni-
versity Jaume I, Castelln (group outside the CIBER); with CRES, UPF (group out-
side the CIBER); and with the group of Havard Rue (R INLA, international group).
