were provided in downloadable formats. Agreements were signed for distributing

some instruments, such as the SF.

• The 1st Bibliopro Scientific Workshop (February 21, 2013) was held suc-
cessfully. 190 participants, 140 attendees plus 85 more who participated online

took part in the event. 36 scientific communications and 25 scientific posters

were presented. International experts such as Professor David Cella from Fein-
berg School of Medicine in Chicago or Dr. José María Valderas of University of

Oxford collaborated in the event.

• The first Newsletter was sent to more than 5000 users and collaborators both

in the clinical and scientific field. This dissemination measure along with the orga-
nization of the Scientific Workshop brought about the registration of 1700 users

with about 10 new users registered daily.

• A scientific document about Bibliopro was published in the PRO Newsletter On-

line-Mapi Research Trust specializing in PRO instrument.

• Two articles about EMPRO instrument results were sent for publication: one of
said articles related to the progression of various prostate cancer instruments by

patients with prostate cancer: a systematic, standardized comparison of available

measures. JCO (revision), was sent to an international journal and was under
review.; and another one relating to instruments for evaluating quality of life in

heart failure was accepted for publication in an international journal (O Garin,
M Herdman, G Vilagut, M Ferrer, A Ribera, L Rajmil, JM Valderas, F Guillemin, D

Revicki, J Alonso, on behalf of the EMPRO-HF Group* Assessing health-related
