The objective of this Meeting, which is held within the framework of the School of
Public Health of Menorca, between doctoral students and senior investigators is to

aid in understanding the on-going Doctoral Dissertation projects, as well as to ge-

nerate new public health research ideas.

Expenses for housing, living expenses and travel to Menorca for selected candida-
tes were covered. These candidates were certified by means of a diploma accredi-

ting their participation in the Meeting. The participation consists of a 30-minute oral
presentation by each student before the Evaluation Committee and other selected

candidates in Spanish or English. After the presentation, the participants engage in

a discussion for another 30 minutes.
