Main lines of research
• Genetics and molecular biology of Fanconi Ane- mia. Genetic characterization of Fanconi patients and identification of new genes involved in the disease and into hereditary breast cancer syn- drome and its functions.
• Development of new diagnostic and therapeutic tools on Fanconi anemia, including gene therapy, regenerative medicine and drug reporsuping.
• Mechanism of genomic instability and predispo- sition to cancer. Study of DNA lesions repair and biological and clinical consequences of repair mechanisms failure.
• Fanconi/BRCA pathway in cancer. Implication of Fanconi genes in cancer and use of them as a therapeutic target against cancer.
