SPANISH BLADDER CANCER STUDY. In Asturias it was initiated in 1997 as a col-
laborative project of the IMIM, DCEG INC in USA, and the University of Oviedo for
assessing the risk of bladder cancer in relation to environmental and occupational
exposures, lifestyle, genetic susceptibility and its interaction with environmental

exposure. It is also evaluating molecular genetic and clinical factors associated 20
with survival.
